START TIMES are; Marathon 9:00am, Half 10:00am

NUMBER COLLECTION from 7.30am 

LOCATION is Turners Puddle, Dorset. Postcode DT2 7JA, OR What3 Words code ///moved.pythons.swim will get you to the parking field by the farm, where you will also find portable toilets and number collection. 

PRICE is £37 for the Marathon and £27 for the Half Marathon for non-affiliated runners (£2 discount for affiliated runners)

IDEAL FOR those who love to race a tough off-road challenge, but equally, with the generous cut-off time, be accessible to those who prefer to enjoy the scenery on the way round. (You need to be aged 18+ to enter the Marathon and 17+ to enter the Half) )

CUT OFFS are 8 hours for the Marathon and 4.5 hours for the half. 

ENTRY INCLUDES a Medal for all finishers, fully signed routes, gpx files, event Medics, sweeper runners, Prizes for first 3 males and first 3 females, and first 3 canicross (mixed), car parking, bag drop, post race refreshment, free event Photos, option to purchase event t-shirts. The Marathon is a UTMB qualifying race for 2023 (canicross runners not eligible sorry).
The Half Marathon is part of The Purbeck Trail Series

The Dorset Ooser Marathon & Half Marathon are fully signed challenging trail races in the heart of Dorset by Badger Trail Events. 



We provide great support, first-aid cover, car parking, an entry fee that wont break the bank, toilets, free refreshment at the finish, medals for all finishers, and 4 aid stations.



We wanted hills, we were sure you would demand mud, and we knew you'd love a constantly changing route that will take you into parts of deepest darkest Dorset, via picturesque villages, old tracks, open fields, hidden holloways, ancient woodlands, and forgotten trails.
