Bideford AAC Club membership runs annually from 1 January to 31 December*. Bideford AAC is lucky to own its clubhouse, and the membership fees go to the main club, to help cover clubhouse costs, such as insurance and bills, maintenance, facilities, equipment and minibus, and do not go to the individual rowing or running sections.

For 2024, the membership fees have increased for the first time in 5 years to help with the clubhouse running costs, which have grown considerably mainly due to higher energy costs. Membership remains very good value; a single senior equals £4.17 per month and less than £1 per week.

There is no admin fee to pay online via Racenation. There is also a new option to pay membership in instalments via Klarna, available at the online checkout.

Club membership fees are reviewed annually at the Club AGM held in March. There may be additional subscriptions payable to the rowing or running sections (see below).

Junior information

• For rowing, children must be age 11 and above. Please get in touch with the rowing section to confirm the training available
• For athletics/running, children must be age 9 and above, there is currently a waiting list and can not to take your child’s details before their 9th birthday. Please email juniors@bidefordaac.co.uk before registering.

Additional subscriptions (paid separately to individual sections)

• Rowing: £25 senior, £15 junior – please mark for the attention of Rowing Treasurer
• Running: £5 per junior – please mark for the attention of Harriers Junior Admin
• England Athletic Athlete Registration (optional, runners only): £17 – online payment will be requested via England Athletics and may not be until March/April if you are renewing.
