About The Cateran Yomp

Now in its 14th year, the Cateran Yomp will see over 1000 walkers/runners take on the 54-mile challenge, all to raise funds for the amazing Army Benevolent Fund.

This is a 54-mile hike over 24 hours so our Angels are hugely important in helping the participants make it to the end.   The atmosphere is fantastic, with teams crossing the finish line all through the night and into the Sunday morning - there's no denying it can be emotional and you are likely to see a few tears.

We need up to 40 therapists to work at 3 different locations - it's a HUGE event and we really need your help so please sign up if you can help out - you'll make decent cash too.

  • Therapists will be paid between £120 and £175 depending on location and timing of shifts

  • Shift times will be allocated at 3 locations between midday on Saturday 7th June and 10am on Sunday 8th June, see further details about shifts below

  • Students are welcome - we will provide supervision

  • Massage tables can be borrowed (please email Caroline to enquire)

  • You must be willing to work an overnight shift - you will be notified of your shift 2-3 weeks before the event

  • Shifts will be based in Glenshee, Glenisla or Blairgowrie (Perthshire)

Shifts will be approximately as follows:

Saturday 7th at Glenshee: Midday - 8pm; fee paid - £150

Saturday 7th at Glenisla: 5pm - 1am; fee paid - £160

Saturday 7th - Sunday 8th at Blairgowrie; Shifts between 10pm and 10am; fee paid - £180

Please come along and check it out - it's for a great cause and you'll get lots of amazing hands-on experience.  A truly inspiring event!
