As THE biggest event in the UK running calendar, The Great North Run attracts some of the worlds top athletes to complete the 13.1 miles.  It is an amazing event with incredible atmosphere and we're so thrilled to have been providing teams there for the last 20 years.



As in previous years, Athletes' Angels will again be providing Physiotherapists, Sports Therapists and Massage Therapists for a number of charities including Prostate Cancer and MacMillan.  You will need to be available to work at the finish from 10am until the end of the event (approx. 4/5pm).  This is a world renowned event and you will be based right in the heart of the Charity Village at the finish area with around 100 charities situated there.  The atmosphere will be buzzing and you'll get the chance to gain some excellent experience!

• Pay will be £120 for a 6-hr shift 


• Supervision can be provided for students


• You need to provide your own travel and equipment, including massage table

It is worth looking at travel options in advance as you will have to get to the Charity Village at the finish line with your equipment and massage table so please be absolutely sure you can do this.  If you can't do that, please do not sign up for the event.  I
