Tables Provided!!!

As THE ABSOLUTE BIGGEST event on the UK running calendar, The Great North Run attracts the worlds top athletes to complete the 13.1 miles.  It is an amazing event with an incredible atmosphere and we're thrilled to have been providing teams there for over 20 years. 



Athletes' Angels will be providing Physiotherapists, Sports Therapists and Massage Therapists for a number of charities including Prostate Cancer and MacMillan Cancer Care.  You will need to be available to work at the finish from 10am until the end of the event (approx. 4/5pm).  This is a world renowned event and you will be based right in the heart of the Charity Village at the finish area with around 100 charities situated there.  The atmosphere will be buzzing and you'll get the chance to gain some excellent experience!  You might even see the Red Arrows who make an appearance every year.

• Pay will be £120 for a 6-hr shift 


• Supervision can be provided for students


• We will provide massage tables to make it easier for you to get on site


• You just need to bring towels, pillows, oil and a big smile!

TRAVEL & PARKING

It is worth looking at travel options well in advance as you will have to get to the Charity Village at the finish line in South Shields with your equipment on the morning of event day so please be absolutely sure you can do this.
