About Edinburgh Marathon

The Edinburgh Marathon is one of the UK's BIGGESTBEST MARATHONS and has always been a popular event for our therapists.  Once again in 2026 we will be providing a huge team of therapists to MacMillan Cancer Support and some smaller teams to other charities and we invite you to sign up to come along and join the fun this year.

This will be a busy day, with a couple of peaks as the half marathon finishes and then again after the full marathon - there is always a fantastic buzz in the massage tent and you'll work hard and get lots of great experience.

  • Date: Sunday 24th May 2026
  • Location: Pinkie St Peter's School, Musselburgh
  • Fee: £120
  • Times: 09:00 - 17:00 - there will be a briefing at 9am followed by some down time before the half marathon runners come in.  There is then a busy spell before another lull so there will be plenty time for rest and breaks, before the marathon runners come in.  All therapists will be finished by 5pm at the latest.
  • Students may apply - supervision will be provided.
  • WE WILL PROVIDE ALL TREATMENT TABLES - this will really help with your arrival on site as there will be closed roads in teh area and there is NO PARKING AT THE EVENT SITE

This is an excellent opportunity for loads of hands-on experience as you will be very busy during the peak times.  MacMillan are an amazing charity to work with and they look after the team really well.

THIS EVENT REALLY IS A LOT OF FUN!!
