NOTICE OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING OF THE ASSOCIATION

Notice is hereby given that the 52nd annual general meeting (the "AGM") of the Association of Jersey Charities will be held in accordance with the constitution of the Association at the Celestial Suite, Royal Yacht Hotel, St Helier, Jersey on 13th July 2023 at 5:30pm.



1. Welcome and apologies.

2. To approve the minutes of the 51st Annual General Meeting held on 14th July 2022 and the General Meeting held on 23rd February 2023.

3. To receive the annual report from the Chairman.

4. To receive the annual report from the Treasurer and adopt the audited accounts for the year ended 31st March 2023 *

5. To fix the subscription for the year commencing April 1st 2024**

6. To consider the reappointment of PKF bba Chartered Accountants as auditors and if reappointed authorise the Committee to fix their remuneration.

7. Election of Officers:

To elect the following Officers:

(a) Chairman

(b) Deputy Chairman

(c) Honorary Treasurer

(d) Honorary Secretary

(e) No more than five additional Officers as ordinary Committee Members



The Committee will be nominating the following candidates:

Kevin Keen - Chairman

Marcus Liddiard - Deputy Chairman

Liz Le Poidevin - Honorary Secretary

Sue Hamon- Honorary Treasurer

Nichola Aldridge- Officer

Jason Laity - Officer

Simon Larbalestier- Officer

Jill Ryan - Officer

Robert Surcouf - Officer



Any other nominations for any office must be made by written notice executed by two Members entitled to vote in general meetings as intention to propose and second the nominee for a named office. That notice should be countersigned by the nominee so as to show his or her willingness to be appointed for such office and must be delivered to the Honorary Secretary by 5pm on 3rd July 2023.

Following the meeting Chief Minister Deputy Kristina Moore will speak to members and take their questions. There will also be an update on our future grants programme from Marcus Liddiard Grants Committee Chair. A buffet will be served when the meeting and presentations have been concluded
