The Alton Trail Run is back on Saturday 12th September 2026, with 2 possibilities:
- 10km Trail Run (14 and over). Starts @ 11:00 (£14 per entrant online or £15 on the day)
- 2 mile Fun Run - (under 10s must be accompanied by an adult) - starts at 11:05 (£5 per entrant)
Medals for all finishers!
ONLINE ENTRIES ARE ONLY POSSIBLE FOR ALTON TRAIL 10KM. ENTRIES FOR FUN RUN MUST BE MADE ON THE DAY

About Alton Trail 10km & Fun Run 2026
Registration will be from 09:30 am until 10:30 on 12th September 2026 at the White Hart, Alton, Staffordshire, ST10 4AQ
The 2026 course will follow the same as was run in 2025, including the magnificent, stunning scenery of Dimmingsdale. The route minimises the use of tarmac, being mainly on gravel tracks & woodland trails with the opportunity to run through the historic grounds of Alton Castle (normally closed to the public).
Runners can be accompanied by dogs but they must be well behaved, and always on leads.
We are limited to 150 participants, so entries will be done on a first-come-first-served basis. Please arrive and register in good time. We suggest giving yourself a bit of extra time, to allow for potential delays with Alton Towers traffic.
Free parking is available at the Alton Village Hall car park
