About Grace Crocker Family Support Foundation Fun Run

The Grace Crocker Foundation Family Support Fun Run

The Event

This is the first of what we hope will become a yearly event. This 5.6km Fun Run will take place on July 10th at Les Quennevais Cycle Track, with a 10am start. This event has been organised by Alan Falle, to help boost his fund and awareness raising aims for the Grace Crocker Family Support Foundation as part of his 2022 in 2022 challenge, during which he is aiming to run 2022km in 2022.

The Grace Crocker Family Support Foundation

The Grace Crocker Family Support Foundation provide financial and emotional support for Jersey families with children receiving medical care in the UK. To find out more about the Foundation and the support they offer, visit https://gracecrocker.org.je/.

Tickets

There are multiple ticket options. Participation is free, but when registering for the event you could opt to purchase a ticket to include a £3, £5 or £10 donation. Alternatively, donations can be made in person on the day using QR codes or charity buckets held by students from Victoria College, where Alan teaches.

Logistics

At 9.45 there will be a warm up, led by Funktion Fitness, followed by an event briefing. The walk/jog/run will then start at 10am and will largely follow the Jersey Park Run circuit, but starting next to the hockey pitch to make the distance up to 5.6km, the average distance Alan has to run each day to complete his challenge.

Post-event

We hope to be able to provide cakes for purchase after the event as organised by Victoria College students and staff and hope that you'll stay to chat with other participants.
