Even if you're not taking part in 1664 Christmas Challenge you can still do your part for a good cause by making a donation.

About 1664 Christmas Challenge

R2R And Civvy2Commando have teamed up to bring you the 2nd 1664 Christmas Challenge! 2022 was so good we, had to bring it back for you!!

We are asking YOU to go out and rack up as many miles of running or walking as you can from December 1st – December 24th and to self-raise as much possible for Rock2Recovery.  This run gives a purpose and a reason to get out there and train in the cold, dark nights of winter when it is so easy to find an excuse not to train. It's also a great community event, you can take part wherever you are and do as much as you want and be supported via our WhatsApp chat.

If this isn’t enough to motivate you to get moving and get your sponsorship heads on, then hopefully this will change your mind! We have 2 HUGE equal prize pots up for grabs in the Ultimate Military Christmas Hampers worth THOUSANDS of pounds, including prizes generously donated from leading brands such as Nite Watches, Thrudark, Grenade, with more to be confirmed.

Entrance to the challenge is charged at £25 which gets you your very own, limited edition Civvy2Commando 1664 Christmas Challenge t-shirt designed by ‘The Bootneck Banksy’. You order this your self via the link sent you post registration.

Once you have entered you are asked to aim for a minimum sponsorship target of £166.40 and to get out and run as much and as far as you can throughout December. If you can’t run or walk but still want to take part, then get cycling, swimming, rowing, or any form of exercise!! However, you will not be eligible to win the ‘Furthest Distance Ran’ award but can still go for the ‘Most Money Raised’ award which has the same prize pot! All distances will be tracked via Strava which is linked to the challenge.

R2R will be in touch once you have signed up to set you up with a fundraising page.

The 2 prize pots will be completely equal to make the awards just as prestigious as the other.

The winner will be announced on Christmas Eve and the prizes will be posted to the winners ASAP after Christmas!
