Get ready for an unforgettable adventure as we celebrate our 2,000th run at the JH3 Anniversary Hash Weekend! This isn't just any weekend; it's a Pirates with Panache thrilling escapade filled with fun, laughter, and camaraderie.
There’ll be familiar events like a red dress run and a hangover run. But they will all feature a peek into the fascinating heritage of this tiny island which sits in the English Channel close to France but with an unashamedly Anglo-Saxon outlook.
Day 1: Welcome Party and Rum Runners Red Dress Run
6.40pm Fri 28 March, Liberty Square, St Helier – Kick off the weekend with a bang with a Red Dress run around the unsuspecting Island’s capital, St Helier. We’ll end up with a stagger into one of the town centre’s welcoming drinking holes, where you’ll find a warm welcome, a mini buffet and a well-stocked bar. It’s your chance to reconnect with old friends and make new ones. Don't forget to wear your most outrageous Red Dress hash attire – there will be prizes for the best-dressed!
Day 2: The Two Thousandth Treasure Trail Torment
1pm Sat 29 March, The Scout Centre, Grande Route des Mielles, St Ouen. - Rise and shine for the highlight of the weekend – the Great 2000th Hash Run or Hash Walk. Whether you're a seasoned hasher or a newbie, this run promises to be an exhilarating experience. Navigate through scenic false trails, tackle oodles of shiggy, some fun challenges, a rum tot and enjoy the beautiful outdoors. Remember, nobody wins; it's about the journey and the laughs along the way. Wear your anniversary tee shirt and be part of the crew.
Finish at the St Ouen Scout Centre for refreshments and a well-earned rest, before we party!
Party time - Pirate Party & Buccaneers Bonanza (Fancy Dress)
6.15pm The Scout Centre - Frock coat, waistcoat, ruffles, bandana, sash, breeches or gown and don't forget your tricorn, cutlass swords must not be drawn but kept in your scabbard. Enjoy predinner drinks and nibbles while La Veil've entertain you with traditional music and songs, audience participation encouraged. Followed by a square meal, with contraband, and then go overboard on the dance floor as the DJ Spikey lures you to abandon caution and cut loose until late. Stay at the scout centre overnight and keep the fun going until you drop.
Day 3: Harey Hook's Hangover Hash
10:30am The Scout Centre – Join us on a hangover run around the challenging sand dunes of the island’s west coast, with some final liquid refreshments and a breakfast butty on our return to the scout centre.

The Jolly Roger Ramble – our venerable blue badge guide has offered to share some tall tales on a free guided walk around the heritage-heavy environs of our beautiful St Ouen’s Bay. It’s up to you whether you believe all his stories or think them scuttlebutt.
Farewell On Downs
After a weekend of excitement, it's time to unwind and reflect on the memories made. Join us for leisurely On Downs. Share your favourite moments and say your goodbyes. As we weigh anchor this isn't the end – it's just the beginning of many more adventures to come.
