Over the Hills is a multi terrain race over approximately 12K (7.5 miles), to be held on Sunday 6th November 2022 at 10:00 starting from Barton Farm Country Park in Bradford on Avon (BoA).
Run under Association of Running Club rules, ARC permit TBC
Nearly all the 12 km course is off-road and because of the November weather it could be very cold, wet and slippery underfoot, spikes are not recommended.
The race includes a river crossing but in the event of high water level, in the interest of safety, runners may be directed to cross via the bridge instead. We know the river crossing is very popular but your safety is paramount.
Awards will be made to the first three Female and Male competitors to cross the finish line, also to the first Male and Female finisher in each of the following age categories, V40, V50, V60 and V70 providing there are at least 3 category entrants. Competitors will be eligible for one individual prize only. Team prizes will be awarded to the first four Male runners and first four Female runners to finish belonging to an EA/ARC affiliated club as declared on the entry form.
Chip timing for the event will be provided by DBMax and results will be available on their website after the event. www.dbmax.co.uk
