Over the Hills is a multi terrain race of approximately 12Km (7.5 miles) from Barton Farm Country Park in Bradford on Avon. The course is mostly off-road and because of the November weather it could be very cold, wet and slippery underfoot, spikes are not recommended. The race includes a river crossing but in the event of high water levels, in the interest of safety, runners may be directed around it. We know the river crossing is very popular but your safety is paramount. The route from 2022 can be viewed here.

Awards will be made to the first three Female and Male competitors to cross the finish line, also to the first Female and Male finisher in each of the following age categories, V40, V50, V60 and V70 providing there are at least 3 category entrants. Competitors will be eligible for one individual prize only. Team prizes will be awarded to the first four Male runners and first four Female runners to finish belonging to an EA/ARC affiliated club as declared on the entry form.

For 2023 Over The Hills will also be race 2 of the Wiltshire Off Road Race league.
